**Idaho Ski Report: Current Snow Conditions and Five-Day Outlook**

For skiers eyeing the Idaho slopes, this week offers a mix of steady snowpack and modest new snowfall in select areas. The standout region for snowfall is the McCall area, with Bear Basin SNOTEL, Secesh Summit, and Brundage Reservoir all forecasting **4 inches of new snow over the next five days**. Brundage Mountain Resort, known for its excellent powder, is a prime destination this week, boasting a **healthy 31-inch snowpack** and the highest near-term accumulation in Idaho. Nearby, Tamarack Resort also benefits from McCall's consistent snow conditions, though its snowfall forecast is slightly lower.

Northern Idaho is home to Schweitzer Mountain Resort, which continues to shine with a **deep 52-inch snowpack**, the highest in the state. However, no new snowfall is forecasted for the next five days. Skiers will find fantastic coverage and groomed terrain, perfect for all skill levels. Similarly, Silver Mountain near Kellogg benefits from steady snowpack but limited short-term accumulation. Backcountry enthusiasts may also want to explore the Selkirk and Cabinet Mountains, where areas like Bear Mountain and Cool Creek maintain snow depths of **47 inches and 34 inches**, respectively.

Central Idaho’s Bogus Basin near Boise remains accessible for most skiers, although its **18-inch snowpack** and no forecasted snowfall suggest stable but modest conditions. For those in the Sun Valley area, resorts like Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain have decent coverage, though limited new snowfall is expected. Higher-elevation areas like Vienna Mine and Galena Summit report snowpacks of **27 inches and 20 inches**, respectively, though both saw no recent accumulation.

For heavy powder seekers, McCall remains the hotspot this week. While most Idaho resorts have reliable base layers, areas with new snow are limited, so plan accordingly for the best ride!
