Brundage Mountain Resort is wrapping up March with a fresh coat of powder and stellar spring skiing conditions. Overnight temps held just below freezing at 29.8°F, helping preserve a robust snowpack that’s holding strong at an impressive 105 inches—over 34% above average. A light dusting of 1 inch overnight adds a soft top layer for early risers, but bigger things are on the way. The next 24 hours are expected to bring nearly 4 inches of fresh snow, with over 5 inches forecasted in the next 72 hours. With a healthy Snow Water Equivalent at 39.7, conditions promise both powder and longevity as we move into April.

On the mountain, skiers and riders are still buzzing about Brundage’s newly opened high-speed chairlift, which has cut wait times and opened up access to expanded terrain. The resort’s recent upgrades and consistently deep snow this season—already surpassing 200 inches—have made it a standout in Idaho’s winter lineup. With clear motivation to “ski more, spend less,” visitors are taking advantage of the extended season and prime conditions. Whether you're chasing the last powder days or enjoying sunny groomers, Brundage continues to deliver the goods for spring break and beyond.
