Bluebird skies and fresh snow make for a prime day at Eldora Mountain Resort! Overnight lows dipped to a crisp 9°F, preserving a solid 36-inch base—well above average for this time of year. A fresh 1.95 inches of snow is expected to fall throughout the day, with over five inches forecasted through Monday, ensuring excellent conditions and soft turns all weekend. Groomers are riding fast, tree runs are holding light powder, and with continued snowfall in the forecast, expect improving coverage across the mountain.

While the slopes are in great shape, skiers and riders should be aware of recent incidents on the mountain, including a fatal crash. Stay in control, respect signage, and ride with a buddy when exploring tree runs. Meanwhile, Eldora’s future is making headlines, as the resort is reportedly up for sale.
