Last Updated: February 10, 2026

Today’s Monarch Mountain snow report: Monarch Ski & Snowboard Area received 0 inches of new snow overnight, maintaining a base depth of 30 inches.

Summary

Snow conditions today are groomed with hardpack throughout most areas, and variable coverage in off-piste terrain. Despite the below-average snowpack—sitting at about 31% lower than average—most terrain is open, including the newly launched No Name Basin.

With only 1 inch of snow forecast over the next 72 hours, powder hounds may want to hold off. However, clear weather and consistent grooming make today a solid choice for cruisers and families looking to enjoy the mountain. The recent expansion means more terrain to explore, and while fresh snow is limited, Monarch continues to impress with how much is open. It’s a good day for carving turns—just keep an eye on exposed spots and stay on-marked trails.
