The Cherokee group site camping area in Colorado is a great spot for groups with stunning mountain views. There are plenty of nearby activities like hiking and fishing as well as access to the nearby Great Sand Dunes National Park. The campground amenities include fire pits, picnic tables, and toilets. The site is first-come-first-serve and there are 12 campsites available. The best time to visit is from June through September with average temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to high 80s.
