There are no established campsites, reservations, permits, or fees required, but it’s first-come, first-served. There are no amenities—no toilets, no water, no hookups—so campers must pack in and out. Some spots have makeshift fire rings; bring your own grill and follow fire restrictions. Accessible by high-clearance vehicles, it offers a rugged, forested alpine setting with views of the Indian Peaks. Nearby attractions include the Peak-to-Peak Scenic Byway and trails like Diamond Lake. Best visited from late June to early October for mild weather and snow-free access.
