Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, the Teal Campground offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges. This stunning camping area is located within the San Isabel National Forest, making it a nature lover's paradise with endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, and wildlife watching.

The Teal Campground is a first-come, first-serve camping area with 15 campsites available for visitors. Each site offers picnic tables, fire rings, and access to potable water. Additionally, vault toilets are available for campers to use.

The area surrounding the Teal Campground is home to several popular nearby points of interest. One such attraction is the stunning Turquoise Lake which is just a short drive away from the campground. Visitors can also explore the historic mining town of Leadville or take a scenic drive along the nearby Independence Pass.

An interesting fact about the Teal Campground is that it is located near the Continental Divide Trail, which runs through the Rocky Mountains from Canada to Mexico. This makes it an ideal location for hikers looking to explore a small section of the trail.
