Evans Landing Campground, located along the scenic shores of Lake Pend Oreille in northern Idaho, offers a peaceful, primitive camping experience accessible only by boat or foot via the Evans Landing Trail.

There are no established campsites—camping is dispersed and first-come, first-served. No reservations or permits are required, and camping is free. Amenities are minimal: there's a pit toilet but no water, picnic tables, or fire rings (open fires may be restricted—check current regulations). RVs are not accessible. The campground is forested and tranquil, with lake views and access to nearby hiking and water activities. Best visited in summer or early fall for ideal weather and trail conditions.
