Fees apply, and no permits are needed unless backpacking. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and drinking water (in season). RVs are allowed, but there are no hookups. The campground sits in a pine-forested canyon near the South Fork Boise River, offering a peaceful, scenic escape ideal for fishing and hiking. Nearby trails include the Big Trinity and Rainbow Basin areas. Best visited June–September, the site provides a classic high-mountain camping experience with cooler temps and rugged beauty.
