Reservations are required via Recreation.gov, and fees apply. The site features a restored 1920s cabin (sleeps up to 4), plus nearby dispersed camping (no established sites). Amenities include a pit toilet, picnic table, fire ring, and non-potable water (bring your own or treat). No RV access or hookups. Surrounded by towering pines and close to the Santiam Wagon Road and Tombstone Pass trails, it’s ideal for hiking, wildlife viewing, and history buffs. Best visited June–October for dry weather and trail access.
