Reservation is required via Recreation.gov; no dispersed camping is allowed on-site. Fees apply per night. The cabin includes basic furnishings and a wood stove; outside you'll find a picnic table and fire ring. There are pit toilets, but no potable water or hookups—bring your own supplies. RVs aren't recommended due to limited access. Enjoy nearby trails like the Fish Lake Trail and access to the Pacific Crest Trail. Best visited June–October for dry weather and vibrant forest scenery steeped in Civilian Conservation Corps history.
