It's a remote, backcountry camping area accessible via hiking or boat, with no road or RV access. There are designated campsites—no dispersed camping—available on a first-come, first-served basis; no reservations, but a permit is required (free with park entrance fee). Amenities include pit toilets, tent pads, and a communal fire ring (fires allowed only at this site). No potable water—treat lake water. The lakeside setting offers serene views and solitude, with access to the Feldtmann Loop Trail and nearby Feldtmann Ridge. Best visited June–September for mild weather and trail access.
