Located in the scenic Fishlake National Forest in central Utah, the Taylor Canyon Campground is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The campground is situated at an elevation of 8,500 feet, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Nearby, visitors can explore the Fishlake Scenic Byway, which winds through the forest and offers breathtaking views of the area's unique geological formations.

The Taylor Canyon Campground offers a variety of amenities, including picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. There are 22 campsites available, which are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing, and boating in the nearby Fish Lake, which is stocked with rainbow, brook, and cutthroat trout.

An interesting fact about the area is that it is home to a unique species of fish known as the Bonneville cutthroat trout, which can only be found in the streams and lakes of the western United States. The best time to visit the Taylor Canyon Campground is from late June to early September, when temperatures range from 50 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. However, visitors should be prepared for cooler temperatures at night, as the area can experience sudden temperature drops.
