Shaw Lake is located in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado and is known for its excellent trout fishing. Rainbow, brown, and brook trout are the most commonly caught species. The area also offers hiking trails and scenic views. Fishing tips include using small dry flies and nymphs, and being mindful of the catch and release regulations in the park. The best time to visit is from late spring to early fall when the average temperature is between 60-80°F.
