Model Ensembles are increasingly confident that The Forty Mile
Country including Eagle and Chicken will see light snowfall
accumulations of less than an inch through Monday. The Upper
Tanana Valley has around a 30 percent chance to receive snowfall
up to half an inch. The most likely scenario will be a rain/snow
mix through much of the valley with little to no accumulations.
There is a small chance of around 10 percent from Salcha to Delta
Junction to see some wintry mix. This would occur around 6am to
8am Monday morning, and would be brief. This mix would then turn
into the rain/snow mix.
