Paradox And Mesa Canyon (Bedrock To Gateway)


This 2 to 3 day stretch of the Dolores is a nice family scenic float (when the water is running).  Paradox and Mesa canyons offer a nice wilderness experience and several camps. From Bedrock until you reach Paradox Canyon there is mostly flatwater.

Suggested river levels for paddling this section of the Dolores River are between a bare minimum of 500cfs and a high of 4,500cfs. River conditions sourced from USGS 09180000, the Dolores River Near Cisco Remember only watercraft are permitted at Paradox and Mesa Canyon (Bedrock to Gateway).
