The river has tight turns and steep drops, with obstacles such as large boulders and narrow channels. The best time to float this section of water is in late spring or early summer when the water is high, with recommended CFS of 800 to 1,500. The scenic canyon views and challenging rapids make this a must-try adventure for experienced river runners.
