The Whitewater River Run from Little Gypsum Valley Bridge to One Mile Above Hwy 90 Bridge in Colorado is a popular destination for whitewater enthusiasts. The ideal streamflow range for this segment is between 500-1500 cfs. The class rating for this section of the river is class III-IV, with some sections reaching class V depending on water levels.

The segment mileage for this run is approximately 9.5 miles, with several notable rapids and obstacles such as Sledgehammer, Pinball, and The Narrows. Sledgehammer is a class IV rapid with a steep drop and tight line through a narrow channel. Pinball is a technical rapid with many rocks and boulders to navigate around. The Narrows is a class V rapid with large boulders and tight channels that require precise maneuvering.
