The Darnell Run to Rabbit Run segment of the Whitewater River in West Virginia is a popular run for experienced paddlers. The ideal streamflow range for this stretch is between 500-1000 cfs. The class rating ranges from III-IV, with some challenging rapids and obstacles such as "Pinball" and "Iron Ring". The segment mileage is approximately 6.5 miles, taking around 3-4 hours to complete.

It is important to note that this section of the river is only suitable for experienced paddlers and should not be attempted by beginners. Additionally, the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources has specific regulations for the area, including a required personal floatation device for all paddlers, no glass containers allowed, and a prohibition on camping within 100 feet of the river.
