Mud Lake, located in Modoc County, California, is a privately owned earth dam with a primary purpose of water supply for irrigation and other uses. Built in 1926, the dam stands at a height of 10 feet and has a storage capacity of 300 acre-feet. Situated on the Tr Nfk Pit River, this dam plays a crucial role in providing water to the surrounding area, with a surface area of 100 acres and a drainage area of 2.7 square miles.
