Bird Pond, also known as Big Timber Creek Dam, is a private water resource located in Leadore, Idaho. Built in 2010 for irrigation purposes, this earth dam stands at a height of 17 feet with a hydraulic height of 15 feet. With a storage capacity of 62.4 acre-feet and a surface area of 9 acres, Bird Pond plays a crucial role in managing water resources in the area.

The dam is regulated by the Idaho Department of Water Resources and is inspected regularly to ensure its safety and functionality. Despite being classified as a low hazard potential structure, Bird Pond is assessed to be in fair condition as of June 2018. The controlled spillway, slide outlet gates, and rock and soil foundations contribute to the efficient operation of this water management infrastructure.
