Mud Lake, also known as Mud Lake Detention Dam, is a Federal-owned structure located in Cox Ranch, Oregon. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management, this dam serves as a Fish and Wildlife Pond along Fish Creek. Built in 1962, Mud Lake has a gravity dam type with a structural height of 23 feet and a hydraulic height of 18 feet, providing a storage capacity of 2250 acre-feet.

With a primary purpose of supporting fish and wildlife conservation, Mud Lake has a low hazard potential and is not currently rated for its condition. The dam features a slide (sluice gate) outlet and has a maximum discharge capacity of 1236 cubic feet per second.
