Kendall Mountain Ski Resort in Colorado has 200 acres of skiable terrain with a vertical drop of 240 feet. The resort offers a variety of trails for all levels of skiers, with the best trails being the intermediate and advanced runs off of the main lift. Meanwhile, beginners can practice their skills on the bunny slope. An interesting fact about Kendall Mountain is that it was originally built by the local mining company as a recreation area for its employees, and it was later converted into a ski resort. For après ski, the Silverton Brewery is a great spot to grab a craft beer and enjoy some live music. Overall, Kendall Mountain is a great choice for a family-friendly ski day with varied terrain and a rich history.
