Windsor Park Nordic Centre
Windsor Park Nordic Centre is a top-rated ski destination in Manitoba, offering over 20 km of groomed trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking. Among the best trails are the challenging "Cardiac Arrest" and the more relaxed "Horse Trail." Few people know that the site was once home to a large hospital, and some of the trails were originally used as walking paths for patients. For beginners, the "Sunflower" trail is a great place to start, with gentle slopes and lovely views. After a day on the trails, head to the Yellow Dog Tavern for a cold beer and some tasty pub grub.
