Summary

Overnight temperatures hovered at a chilly 25.7°F, preserving a modest 12-inch snowpack—about 37% below the seasonal average. While snow conditions are thinner than usual, the groomed runs remain open and rideable, thanks to recent cold weather maintaining snow integrity. A light dusting of 0.1" is in the 24- and 72-hour forecasts, offering a glimmer of refreshment on the slopes, though not enough to significantly boost the base.

Despite the shallow snowpack, Badger Mountain is turning heads with the lowest lift ticket prices in the West, making it a prime pick for budget-conscious winter adventurers. The ski season across Washington has seen a rocky start due to early flooding and uncooperative weather, but Badger Mountain is among the resilient few keeping the lifts spinning. In other news, the beloved 86-year-old Vista Hut is scheduled for replacement, promising updated facilities in the near future. While snow lovers may need to adjust expectations, the charm, affordability, and community spirit of Badger Mountain continue to shine this holiday season.
