Last Updated: February 15, 2026

Today’s Red Lodge Mountain snow report: Red Lodge Mountain received 0 inches of new snow overnight, with a base depth holding at 12 inches.

Summary

Conditions on the mountain are firm and groomed, with limited powder and some icy spots developing due to warmer overnight temperatures (30.9°F). No significant snowfall is expected in the next 24 hours, with only 0.21 inches forecast over the next 72 hours and 1 inch in the next 5 days.

While the mountain remains open and lift tickets are among the most affordable in the country, skiers and riders should be cautious—especially given recent incidents involving lift safety. The current snowpack is 63% below average, and with minimal new snow on the way, terrain may become more limited. If you're local and looking to carve some turns on groomers, it's still worth a few runs. But powder hounds may want to hold off until the next storm rolls through.
