Summary

Skiers can expect variable early-season conditions with thin coverage and occasional exposed terrain. Groomed trails may offer the best experience, though off-piste areas remain closed. No new snowfall is forecasted over the next 48 hours, and warm air continues to challenge snowmaking operations. Guests should check for trail openings and lift status before arriving, as terrain is limited.

While Temple Mountain remains a cherished spot among New Hampshire’s lost ski areas, its legacy echoes in current conversations about the future of winter sports in the region. With nearby areas like Tenney Mountain making headlines for their comeback efforts, Temple enthusiasts are reminded of the ever-changing face of Northeast skiing. As discussions surrounding climate resilience grow louder—especially with recent questions in local media about winters to come—Temple's story is a poignant chapter in New England's alpine history. For now, dress for spring-like conditions, bring your rock skis, and savor the nostalgia of skiing a mountain that still holds a place in many hearts.
