The pertinent mountain range for Whitetail Ridge Ski Resort in Pennsylvania is the Blue Ridge Mountains. The resort features a variety of mountain aspects, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain, as well as a vertical drop of 935 feet. The resort also offers a variety of amenities, such as multiple chairlifts, a terrain park, and a ski and snowboard school.

The best trails for advanced skiers are Bold Decision and Exhibition, while the intermediate skiers can enjoy Angel Drop and Snow Dancer. A historical fact about this resort is that it was opened in 1991 and was the first ski resort to operate in Southern Pennsylvania. For beginners, the resort has a great suggestion of the Sidewinder Trail, which is a 1.2-mile gentle slope.
