Reservations are not required—sites are first-come, first-served. There is a small nightly fee. Amenities include pit toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and limited potable water (seasonal). RVs are allowed, though there are no hookups. Set in a high-desert landscape with sweeping mountain views, the campground offers a quiet, rugged experience ideal for stargazing and solitude. Nearby attractions include the scenic Ghost Town of Goldfield and off-road trails for OHV enthusiasts. The best time to visit is spring or fall when temperatures are milder. Summer can be extremely hot, and winter brings cold nights.
