Reservations are recommended via Larimer County’s website, especially in summer. Fees apply per night. The campground includes flush toilets, potable water, fire rings with grills, picnic tables, and RV access with electric hookups. Set beside a scenic 47-acre reservoir, the area has a peaceful, lakeside vibe with open views and some tree cover. It’s ideal for fishing, kayaking, and relaxing. Nearby attractions include Carter Lake and Flatiron Trail. The best time to visit is late spring through early fall, when temperatures are mild, and the reservoir is full.
