There's no potable water; campers must bring their own. RVs up to 30 feet can access the campground via a gravel road. The forested setting sits at 9,500 feet near the Fossil Ridge Wilderness, offering a peaceful high-alpine vibe with nearby hiking and fishing on Gold Creek and trails like Mill-Castle. Dispersed camping is also allowed nearby. The best time to visit is June–September for pleasant temperatures and clear trail access. A nightly fee applies.
