No reservations are needed—sites are first-come, first-served, with no fees or permits required. Pit toilets and picnic tables are available; however, there's no potable water, and RVs are allowed but without hookups. Fire rings are present at most sites. Surrounded by spruce and aspen, the campgrounds provide a peaceful, scenic getaway with access to the Continental Divide Trail and nearby Trujillo Meadows. Best visited June through September, the area is quiet, remote, and perfect for dispersed solitude or rustic camping.
