Eel Creek Campground, located along the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area near Lakeside, Oregon, offers 50 established campsites nestled in a scenic coastal forest of shore pine and huckleberry, adjacent to towering sand dunes.
Reservations are recommended (via Recreation.gov), with a nightly fee. Campsites include picnic tables, fire rings, and access to vault toilets and potable water; no hookups are available, but RVs up to 40 feet are allowed. The campground offers a peaceful, natural vibe with direct access to the John Dellenback Dunes Trail. Best visited from late spring to early fall for mild weather and dune exploration; permits not required for camping.
