Reservations are not required—first-come, first-served—and fees are around $20/night. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings with grills, and non-potable water (bring your own). RVs are allowed, but there are no hookups. The campground offers a peaceful, shady setting near the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway with access to hiking, fishing, and scenic drives. The vibe is quiet and forested—ideal for a rustic alpine escape. Best visited June–September when roads are clear and temperatures mild.
