A boat is required to access this remote, scenic spot. Campsites feature picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets; however, there is no drinking water, RV access, or hookups. The campground sits on a desert shoreline backed by juniper-dotted cliffs, ideal for a peaceful, secluded escape. Visitors enjoy lakeside views, fishing, kayaking, and exploring nearby canyons. Best visited late spring through early fall for warm, dry weather. Fees apply and are managed by the Ashley National Forest.
