Kings Bottom Campground, just outside Moab, Utah, offers 21 established campsites along the Colorado River with stunning red rock canyon views.


Summary

It's a desert environment with no shade, making spring and fall the best times to visit. Campsites include picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets; there’s no water or hookups, and RVs must be 40 ft or shorter. Reservations are not accepted—sites are first-come, first-served—and there’s a nightly fee. Dispersed camping is not allowed in this area. The campground is close to hiking and biking trails, including those in Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, making it ideal for adventurers seeking a scenic, rustic basecamp.
