Reservations are not required; sites are first-come, first-served with no permits needed. There is a small fee (typically under $20/night). Campground amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and drinking water (seasonal). RVs are welcome, though there are no hookups. The area is shaded by pine trees and offers a peaceful, rustic experience with easy access to hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The nearby Cloud Peak Wilderness and Fawn Creek Trail are popular. Best visited from June to September for warm days and cool nights.
