Deer Lake, located in Wright County, Minnesota, is a state-regulated reservoir with a gravity dam standing at 11 feet high. Built in 1940, the dam serves various purposes and has a normal storage capacity of 1435 acre-feet. With a surface area of 163 acres and a drainage area of 50 square miles, Deer Lake is a vital water resource in the region.
