Cliff Lake in Duchesne, Utah is a privately owned reservoir regulated by the Utah Division of Water Rights. Built in 1957 for irrigation purposes, this earth dam stands at a hydraulic height of 23 feet and has a storage capacity of 1200 acre-feet. Located on the Whiterocks River, this reservoir serves as a vital water resource for the surrounding area.

With a maximum discharge rate of 62 cubic feet per second and a drainage area of 3 square miles, Cliff Lake poses a high hazard potential but has been assessed as satisfactory in condition. Regular inspections by the state ensure its safety, with the last assessment conducted in September 2020.
