Smiths is a privately owned dam located in Spanish Fork, Utah, along the Lake Fork river. Built in 1898, this Earth dam stands at a structural height of 11.5 feet with a hydraulic height of 4.5 feet. Its primary purpose is for recreation, offering a storage capacity of 400 acre-feet and a normal storage of 90 acre-feet. The dam has a low hazard potential and has not been rated for its current condition.

Managed by the Utah Division of Water Rights, Smiths is subject to state regulation, permitting, inspection, and enforcement. Although it has not been modified in recent years, the dam underwent its last inspection in July 2011 with a scheduled inspection frequency of 5 years. The dam is located within the Omaha District of the US Army Corps of Engineers jurisdiction and falls under the representation of Congressman John R. Curtis.
