Pence is a privately owned dam located in Sheridan, Wyoming, specifically in the city of Clearmont. Built in 1954, this earth dam stands at a height of 28 feet and has a primary purpose of providing fire protection, stock, and a small fish pond. It is situated along Lone Tree Creek and is regulated and permitted by the Wyoming State Engineer's Office.
