Chittim, also known as Luckey Pond, is a state-owned Earth dam located in Fremont, Wyoming, along Chittim Gulch. Built in 2003 by M. Opitz of NRCS, the dam serves as a Fish and Wildlife Pond for recreational purposes. With a height of 25 feet and a hydraulic height of 20 feet, Chittim has a maximum storage capacity of 57 acre-feet and a surface area of 4.6 acres, providing a habitat for various wildlife species in the area.

Despite its important role in supporting the local ecosystem, Chittim poses a significant hazard potential and has been assessed as unsatisfactory in condition. The dam features an uncontrolled spillway with a width of 30 feet and outlet gates including a slide and valve. Regular inspections are carried out every 5 years, with the last assessment conducted in April 2021. With a moderate risk rating of 3, there is a need for ongoing risk management measures to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the structure for future generations of water resource and climate enthusiasts to enjoy.
