Mountain High Resort is a popular ski resort located in the San Gabriel Mountains of Southern California. A lesser-known fact about the resort is that it was originally opened in 1942 as a military training camp for ski troops during World War II. For beginners, the resort offers the Discovery Zone, which features gentle slopes and a magic carpet lift. After a day on the slopes, skiers can head to the Bullwheel Bar & Grill for some après ski drinks and food.
