Waterville Valley ski resort is nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and boasts 265 acres of skiable terrain. The resort offers a variety of trails suitable for all skill levels, but the best trails are the Upper and Lower Bobby's Run, which are steep and challenging. Interestingly, Waterville Valley was the first ski area in the United States to install a gondola, which is still in operation today. For beginners, the resort recommends the Valley Run trail, which is wide and gentle. For après ski, the T-Bars restaurant and tavern is a popular spot with a cozy atmosphere and live music on weekends.
