Last Updated: February 10, 2026

Today’s Ski-Tonka snow report: Ski-Tonka received 0 inches of new snow overnight, with a base depth of just 2 inches—a staggering 84% below average for this time of year.

Summary

Conditions on the mountain are hard-packed and icy, with minimal natural snow coverage and very limited terrain open. Overnight temperatures dipped to a frigid 1.1°F, helping preserve the thin snowpack but doing little to improve the riding experience.

Looking ahead, the forecast for the next 24 to 72 hours shows no significant snowfall on the horizon, and temperatures are expected to remain cold, limiting melt but also preventing any softening of the hardpack. With conditions this marginal, skiers and snowboarders should temper expectations or consider holding off until fresh snow arrives. If you're determined to hit the slopes, bring sharp edges and be prepared for icy, early-season-like terrain.
