The deepest snowpack in Colorado was last observed at Tower with a snowpack depth of 31”, about 67% of normal when compared to it's 46" average depth for this time of year. Colorado's snowpack depths show variety, with Tower, CO, boasting a significant 31 inches, while several locales anticipate fresh snowfall, including Lost Dog, CO, with a forecast of 11 inches. Amidst Ullr Fest celebrations, residents hope for generous snowfall to enhance the winter season. High winds may increase fire risks along the Front Range, adding a cautionary note to the current weather narrative.
