Reservations are not accepted—first-come, first-served only. A nightly fee applies, and no permits are required unless for campfires during fire restrictions. Amenities include vault toilets, potable water, fire rings, picnic tables, and tent and small RV access (no hookups). The lakeside, high-alpine setting features pine forests and granite peaks, creating a peaceful, scenic retreat. Nearby are hiking, fishing, kayaking, and access to trails like the Lakes Basin Loop. Open season is typically June–October, with summer offering the best weather and lake access.
