Drinking water is available seasonally. RVs up to 20 feet are allowed, but there are no hookups. Reservations are not required—sites are first-come, first-served—with a modest nightly fee. Set in a chaparral-covered hillside with views of the Santa Ana Mountains, it offers a peaceful, semi-remote vibe. Popular nearby trails include Morgan Trail and El Cariso Nature Trail. The Ortega Highway (SR-74) provides scenic access. Best time to visit is spring or fall, when temperatures are mild and wildflowers bloom.
