Reservations are recommended via Recreation.gov, and fees apply. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and nearby vault toilets. Potable water is available seasonally. RVs are permitted, but there are no hookups. The campground offers a peaceful, forested setting with river access, ideal for fishing, hiking, and relaxing. Popular trails and Lake Tahoe are nearby. Open mid-May to October (weather permitting), late spring to early fall is the best time to visit for mild weather and full amenities.
