There are no established campsites—only dispersed camping, so come self-contained. No toilets, water, fire rings, grills, or picnic tables are provided. RVs are allowed, though there are no hookups. The area features stark desert scenery, expansive views, and rugged terrain ideal for OHV riding. Nearby attractions include the Johnson Valley Off-Highway Vehicle Area and King of the Hammers event. Best visited in cooler months (October–April), as summers can be dangerously hot. Expect a dry, remote, and adventurous camping experience.
